Artistic Development on a Computer 3.2

Student will use computers to develop a piece of graphic art.

Stock Market Predictors 3.1

Students will track stocks and the major market indicators for 30 days. They will then chart the value of the stocks along with the market indicators to determine which indicator is best for their specific stock. Then they will try to explain their results.

Food Counts 3.1

Students will use a spreadsheet to calculate the amount of calories they consume each day along with the number of grams of fat and protein. They will compare this total to the estimated amount of energy they burn each day.

Freshman Newsletter

Students will use a word processing program to create a newsletter about their first week in high school. The lesson can be done using a second language to improve communication skills.
